Awesome :) (And that was a hilarious "update!")

My dad got a new desktop computer about a month ago so I've gotten to try out Windows 7. I'm pretty impressed too.

Disclosure: I use Ubuntu on my laptop and at work, because it's much easier to program with, obviously. I have a Windows XP desktop too (which I'd like to make a dual-booter with Ubuntu also) which I like to keep around for gaming, media, etc. I haven't used it much in the last few years because I've been so scattered, but I really had my shit together I'd use it at home all the time as a media center and also to organize my documents. I do *not* find Linux helpful at all for organizing documents.

I'm really surprised no one ever knocked away 50 percent of windows market share. It seems rather sad honestly that no other company out there could really make a product that could really compete. Windows 7 has bugs, just not as many as vista or xp. by the way microsoft is still releasing bad updates for xp !.

All that being said. I recently bout an I7 laptop of course with win 7.
Unfortunately, after really wanting to switch this time.. there was still really no other options (apple included) that had the software availability like windows does.. I hate em. but i think im keepin them.

(i do have an iphone though :) )
