About
I spent a large amount of my college career hanging out at Cem Kaner's house talking testing and sipping homemade lattes. And let me tell you: Cem makes a mean latte.
But before this, when I was a sophomore at Florida Tech, when I first started working with Cem, he invited me to a few of his LAWST style peer-workshops that jump-started my career. I didn't think I could participate -- I was a nervous college student with about 1/100th the experience of anyone in those rooms -- but I ended up making an impression on the people there. In an odd display of acceptance, I was growled at by James Bach and Micheal Bolton (repeatedly) because I sunk my teeth into their testing problems and wouldn't let go. They called me and a few other students 'wolves,' and I've run with the name ever since.
Thank you Cem, James, Michael and all who graciously welcomed me into their community.

Nice blog Tim! You should get it included in TestingReflections.com I think you would get a wider audience there.

Tim,
I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it many times again — Everything you write, every question you ask, and every comment you share proves several things:
1) We “super-geek, mega-experienced, hyper-studied testers” are not living out in some fantasy world that only we can understand.
2) All testers need to keep up with the so-called “thought-leaders” is a passion for testing and an open mind.
3) No matter how many years/experiences our junior, you belong every bit as much as the rest of us.
Keep up the blogging – Your voice will have more influence with more people than I suspect you can currently imagine.
Scott
